Orders, Shipping, and Returns

We currently ship to the United States and to all international destinations outside of the European Union. We are working on setting up our tax status in the European Union but unfortunately until that is finalized we are not currently shipping to EU Member States.

Our suppliers have fulfillment centers in California, North Carolina, and Riga, Latvia. We work with most major carriers, and your shipping time is estimated at checkout using the most appropriate fulfillment center for your location.

All of our products are custom made to order. Our printing process takes 2-7 days for apparel, and 4-7 days for non-apparel items. On average, we fulfill orders and ship them out within 3-4 days.

Yes. Orders with FedEx Priority shipping jump to the front of the line for fulfillment. This roughly cuts fulfillment time in half, to 1-3 days for apparel, and 2-3 days for non-apparel items.

There is a short window of time before the order enters the fulfillment process where changes are possible, including product selections and shipping details. If you believe there has been an error with your order details, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to work with out fulfillment to see if we can rectify the problem.

Once the order has begun the fulfillment process (which can happen any time within the first 24 hours after submitting the order), order details cannot be changed. Please double-check all of your order details before submitting to avoid any issues.

We will perform exchanges on defective or damaged merchandise unless caused during shipping or delivery. If an item is damaged during shipping, please follow up with the relevant shipping carrier. See our Returns Policy for more information.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns for size/fit issues or buyer's remorse. Our supplier does not offer returns due to the custom-made nature of the products, and as a small startup we do not currently have a warehousing solution for accepting, processing, and re-circulating returned merchandise.

Please consult the size guide and any reviews before purchasing. If you believe there has been an error or misrepresentation of our products, please contact us and we will review issues on a case-by-case basis.

Products have special sale pricing while the hashtag is trending on social media. We update our database every 30 seconds, and occasionally a hashtag you are interested in will stop trending while you are shopping, which causes the price to go up even if the item is already in your cart.

Once you proceed to the checkout step, the price is locked in, so as long as you complete the checkout process within a reasonable time frame, you will be guaranteed the pricing as shown in the checkout process.

Trends, Products, and Content

There are a number of reasons why a trending hashtag may not show up on Hashgear:

  • We have only been tracking hashtags since roughly May of 2018, so if the hashtag trended before this date, it is likely not in our database.
  • We currently only track trends in the United States, at the national scale. If your hashtag isn't trending in this market at this scale, it won't be on Hashgear.
  • When trending hashtag volumes are high, we may discard trends below a certain trending threshold to keep our product catalog manageable.
  • We filter hashtags to avoid generating content that may be trademarked.
  • We may have removed it due to violation of our Content Policy.
  • We may have somehow missed it. (Mistakes happen!)

We understand that not everyone will agree with our decisions regarding our Content Policy. Anyone is welcome to make their case by emailing using the link included with each product, but ultimately our decision to discontinue, remove, or keep a product is entirely at our discretion.

Philanthropy

With your help, we identify hashtags that are used primarily in connection with humanitarian causes, and we donate profits from those sales to organizations dedicated to making a positive difference in the world. The origins of our Philanthropy Program are outlined in this blog post.

Please visit the product page in question and look for the link underneath the photos to send us your suggestion. Please provide some reference material making the case that the hashtag in question is used primarily in connection with a humanitarian cause.

We welcome suggestions from our community, but we will do the necessary due diligence to identify reputable organizations associated with any philanthropic cause that we choose to support.

We understand that not everyone will agree with our decisions regarding our Philanthropy Program. Anyone is welcome to make their case by emailing using the link included with each product, and we will consider each request within the context of the collective conversation. Ultimately our decisions regarding the Philanthropy Program must align with our values, have a strong association with humanitarian causes (not generally applied in other contexts), and will be at our sole discretion.

We are a small company and the Philanthropy Program requires more manual research and diligence than many of our automated processes. We will develop this program as quickly as we can, but we encourage you to email us your suggestions from any product page that you think is a good candidate.
